After spending the summers at the company of her father Laura Linney was captivated with the theatre. Then she attended Brown University she studied acting and also at Juilliard School, after which, her career took off. Her Broadway career soon after completing her degree, and then made her TV debut in the next year. Since then, she's performed in many films and TV and stage productions.
